Take time out to unplug, connect with yourself and nature. Explore our beautiful countryside surroundings and be nourished with wholesome foods and like-minded souls. Just beyond the green in the chocolate-box village of Wickhambreaux, Kent, on an estate once owned by rock royalty, you’ll find Camp Quaives: what we hope feels more like an outdoor boutique retreat than a campsite.

Many a story to tell…

In a nutshell it was once a family farmstead, then a country home and now a popular retreat destination where many a visitor has been touched by the tranquility and beauty of the gardens as well as the design of the indoor spaces. The Quaives as you see it today has been a passion project combining a love of architecture, nature and wholesome living to turn what was for many decades a private family home into a welcoming space for celebration, exploration and connection to nature - essentially a place where you can plug in to a joie de vivre.

  • I attended a retreat at The Quaives quite recently and I have to say that it was one of the most magical experiences I have had. The surroundings are beautifully nestled in the depths of the Kent countryside, you feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The classes and workshop are epically put together and so thoughtful, down to the the soft blankets, lines of candles and words that are breath taking. The food is scrummy and nourishing and there is plenty of it too! A retreat I will hopefully be booking for years to come.

  • This place is absolutely fantastic! I have organised a 3 days yoga retreat for the very first time and I was absolutely amazed by how well equipped the yoga studio was and how beautiful the accommodations for my students were. The overall experience was incredible including the communication with the owners. I will be definitely organise another retreat at The Quaives.

  • Still stunned at how beautiful the site was, and it’s unlike any camping experience we’ve ever had.

  • I booked this retreat very last minute as I was hitting emotional and work burn out, and it was one of the best decisions I've made all year! The weekend was all I'd hoped it would be - and so much more. Two days alone gave me the energy and emotional boost I needed; I left the beautiful grounds of The Quaives feeling inspired and renewed, a totally different person! I have told all my friends that this retreat is a must, and I am already looking ahead to the next one, which I'll be booking before the year is out! I couldn't recommended it highly enough.
